As of January 1, 2022, SACE has replaced the Security Agencies Grading Exercise. Under SACE, security agencies are evaluated on Core and Elective Competencies. Agencies must pass all Core Competencies to qualify for a one-year license, or pass both Core and Elective Competencies for a two-year license. Evaluation occurs closer to the license expiry date.
